This strategy is a crypto-focused breakout and retest methodology built around the confluence of two key technical tools: the Volume Profile Point of Control (POC) and the 200 EMA. After a clean breakout, traders wait for price to retest one or both of these levels before entering. The strategy uses three entry models—protected retests, unprotected retests, and key-level reclaims—with a focus on identifying high-probability reactions at significant support or resistance zones.
Trade management targets either range rebalancing or trend continuation, aiming for a minimum 2:1 reward-to-risk ratio. Additional filters include avoiding consolidation between reactive levels, favoring sloped rather than flat EMAs, and being cautious around major U.S. economic news releases. The approach is designed primarily for cryptocurrency markets on the H1 timeframe and emphasizes patience and structured risk management.
